Hello guys, I was thinking about improve the aiming system by adding a better accuracy depending on how much time you aim with your weapon.

No, that would make shooting runners way harder. It would just make running more powerful and this makes runners able to even outrun gunners because they don't have much accuracy and just end up missing most of the time and the runner gets away.

there is no way you can change the accuracy of a weapon -- expect with a laser ? -- .
There are alternates tho you can do to penalize campers like giving each player a gun that suits their fighting style (campers gets the bottom of the barrel of course).

You mean, leave it a little automatic? This seems like it would not work as it should.

This will definitely screw up the game.

That's right. But I meant to do this while keeping limits to accuracy
For example, if you don't aim or aim for very few seconds, the accuracy will be like the default one
Or if you aim for much time with m60 the aim will never be accurate as an assault rifle or anything else but a bit improved

As in degrading accuracy, it gets worse the more time you aim?

Still don't understand why you want this, but i would actually like it if the sniper rifle and M60 needed some time to stabilize their aim but that probably wouldn't work at all.

I think what you're basically suggesting is a simplified recoil system, which many here will agree is an awful idea. Simply because the gunning in SFD needs to be quick and simple.

I don't think improving your aim by aiming for a longer duration is as beneficial as it is. This game requires you to be quick and having to stand still in order to improve your chances at accuracy makes it even less helpful. Besides, if you pick up a laser sight the accuracy will always be much better, not to mention it even helps you aim better too.
